Why this collection?
Real vehicle-stopping performance, tested to U.S. ASTM and DOS crash standards
A wide design range — from minimalist cylinders to sculptural forms
Fully self-powered — no electrical trenching or grid connection required
Corrosion-resistant construction across every model
5-year warranty on LED lighting components
What this collection delivers
Real security, not just the look of it
Select models are crash-tested to physically stop a vehicle, not just deter one visually
A form for every site
Minimalist cylinders to sculptural, architectural silhouettes, not one shape in different colors
One collection, two roles
Crash-rated where the threat is real, design-forward everywhere else
What's inside each fixture
- ASTM F2656 and DOS K-rating certified
- Rated from SC (passenger car) up to K12 (15,000 lb truck at 50 mph)
- Independently crash-tested, not self-certified
- A rating tier for every risk level, from light urban security to critical infrastructure
- Deep Foundation — maximum stability and structural support
- Shallow Foundation — reduced excavation depth for easier installation
- Grade A monocrystalline cells
- Rated above 19.4% efficiency
- Sized per fixture to match its battery and LED load
- Recharges automatically every day, rain or shine
- LiFePO4 lithium chemistry — more stable and longer-lived than Lithium-Ion or NiMH
- Rated for 10+ years of service life
- Proven across 400,000+ units installed worldwide
- Sized to run through multiple consecutive low-sun or rainy days on stored charge alone
- Philips-grade LED output — 196+ lumens per watt
- Multiple output tiers per model, from subtle accent lighting to full security brightness
- 80,000+ hour rated lifespan
- Custom lumen packages available on request
- Two distribution types, chosen to match how a fixture sits on site
- 360° — even coverage on freestanding, cylindrical bollards
- 180° — directed output on square models placed against a wall or boundary line
- Non-dimmable as standard, dimmable where a project needs it
- 0–10V dimming available on request
- Self-powered from day one
- No electrical wiring, no trenching, no electrician required
- Crash-rated models: engineered foundation sized to the rating
- Standard models: ground-set or concrete-base mount, no special engineering required
- Built for a multi-decade service life, not a multi-year one
- LED — 80,000+ hours
- Battery — 10+ years
- Housing resists corrosion, UV fade, and humidity over the same timeframe

Frequently asked questions
Solar security bollards, answered
A crash rating means the bollard has been physically tested and certified to stop a vehicle of a defined weight at a defined speed, following an established U.S. standard (ASTM F2656 or DOS K-ratings). Not every model in this collection carries a crash rating — the collection includes both engineered, crash-tested fixtures for sites with a genuine vehicle threat, and design-forward models built for perimeter marking and lighting where that level of protection isn't the goal. The right choice depends entirely on what the site actually needs to defend against.
Match the rating to the real vehicle threat on site, not the highest number available. A light-security urban plaza has very different requirements than a logistics hub loading dock or a government facility perimeter. Our specification team can help translate a site's actual risk profile into the right rated model, rather than defaulting to the most expensive option.
Yes — the solar and battery system is sized to keep the fixture running through extended periods of reduced sunlight, so lighting performance doesn't lapse during a stretch of cloudy weather. And on the crash-rated models, being solar-powered has no bearing on the fixture's structural or impact performance — that's entirely a function of the bollard's engineering and foundation, independent of how it's powered.
Both, from the same collection. Crash-rated models can be specified wherever a real vehicle threat exists, and design-forward models can carry the same lighting language across the rest of the site — pathways, entries, plazas — so a project doesn't end up mixing vendors or aesthetics between its protected and unprotected zones.
Every fixture is self-powered, so there's no electrical work to coordinate — installation is a foundation and a fixture, not a foundation, a trench, and a wiring run. Crash-rated models require an engineered foundation sized to their rating, since the foundation is what makes the crash performance hold up in real-world use; our specification team provides the foundation requirements for each model and rating.
Wider than most security lighting lines offer. Options span a minimalist stainless steel cylinder, a chamfered architectural block with directional light, a domed architectural cap, a twisted sculptural form, and several other distinct silhouettes — giving a project the ability to match a fixture to its architectural character rather than accepting one generic look.
Yes. LED lighting products across the collection carry a 5-year warranty.
